Born and raised in Wilmington, DE, Wilmington Friends School for 13 years, then U of Tampa for a music degree. Associates in Electronics from Del Tech thinking I would learn how to repair my keyboard synthesizers – but to no avail. Bowling alley mechanic in high school – left with 197 average and represented DE in Washington DC for high school seniors. Learned plants and landscaping in Tampa, FL, played in horn bands, and learned the fine art of dry aged steaks and meat cutting at the famous Bern’s Steak House. Learned to butcher veal back in Wilmington and became chef at the Crepe Chalet, helped open several restaurants, and got the computer bug in 1982 and quit the restaurant business. Just learned to play golf, and worried that I will like it. Haven’t picked up a bowling ball more than a couple of times in 35 years.
